Solved Upgraded to free enterprise license but can’t use enterprise features

We have recently upgraded to the enterprise license but are unable to utilize any of the pro or enterprise licensing features. Inparticularly the SMS functionality.
Is there something special left to do?
this is a self hosted instance on AWS.
