Upgrades from 12

We have a new initiative to try to "keep current" on the versions for our 3CX clients.. likely no more than one version behind.
We've been using since v8.. so we saw the .Net to Silverlight back to .Net client app.

Let's assume somebody is on v12.0.. maybe 12.5..
I don't remember at this point.. does the app upgrade between major versions?
If I upgrade the host.. will the apps upgrade from either of these to v14? Or.. do I need to prep some redeploy?
I just don't remember. We keep ours current (yep.. v14 SP3..) so I just recall the SPs will update the app.. but what about the major versions?..

I will lab something up to find out otherwise.. I just don't recall.
Yeah.. I have some oldies on 10 and 11.. already know we face a new deploy there anyway.

Did the "Let Me ..." BS even address the question about the client?

Fired up a VM earlier this week to step through.
12 to 12.5 worked.. 12.5 to 14 worked.
Reverted the checkpoint back to 12.. 12 to 14 also worked.

Glad to know it will catch up the app.
Aside.. the PBX upgrade itself has been buggy sometimes.. but will see.
