Upgrading multicell SNOM DECT

Hi,

I've been searching for the proper procedure for updating firmware in multicell DECT setup with SNOM M700 bases.

All base stations are currently running v450/13 pr. this guide - we have the same firmware in production at other sites without issues.

SNOM has released newer firmware, v500/1, v501/1, v510/1 and v520/1, but I cannot seem to find any guides on how the upgrade procedure works in a multicell setup.
Do I just update the master base, and then all base stations receive the new firmware as well, or do I update all base stations one by one?
Btw. I'm aware that a direct upgrade from 450/13 to 510/520 is not possible - it needs to be a two step procedure though v500 or v501 first.

For this I would strongly recommend consulting Snom's documentation and if need be, contact them directly.

It's not actually directly related with 3CX but more of a device specific procedure, however you are right to say that member's here are very helpful and you might very well get at least some info on the matter.

I haven't setup a multicell site yet, but it looks like the manual from the service hub says the M700 can update all base stations.

Do you have any experience with M700 and the newer 5xx firmwares in combination with 3CX? We have been using the 450/13 on all deployments so far (with no issues).

I have a few M700 and M65 running 520/1 and haven't had any issues. We only use basic functions on them. Make or receive call and transfer.

Cool - thanks for sharing. I don't anticipate using any fancy features either. A basic on-prem 3CX install with a handful of M25 devices connecting to 5 cell multicell setup.

Only reason for using that many cells is the layout of the building and need for roaming.
