Hello,

I urgently need help recovering administrator access to my self-hosted 3CX PBX.

PBX details:
- Self-hosted / on-premise 3CX PBX
- Version: 20.0.995 SP9
- BASIC 4SC
- 4 simultaneous calls
- PBX FQDN: royalzeus.3cx.com.cy
- Management URL: https://royalzeus.3cx.com.cy:5001
- Company: RoyalZeus Global Advisors LTD

Problem:

My current public IP has been blacklisted by the PBX, and I can no longer access the PBX Web Client or Admin Console.

At the same time, I have forgotten the PBX administrator password.

I have tried the PBX password recovery procedure, but the recovery email is not arriving.

I DO have access to the 3CX Customer Portal, and I can see the license associated with this PBX. However, I understand that Customer Portal credentials and PBX administrator credentials are separate.

I need urgent assistance restoring administrator access to the PBX and removing the IP blacklist.

I can provide proof of ownership and license information privately if required.

Please advise the fastest supported recovery procedure for this situation.

Thank you.

A few things to keep in mind:

  1. If your IP address has been blacklisted, simply try accessing the system from a different network—for example, using your mobile data connection.
  2. The 3CX SMTP service is not available with the 4SC Free license, so you will not receive the password recovery email. However, have you tried sending the recovery email to a different address?
I believe there are several possible ways forward. The first would be to upgrade the license so that you can receive emails. Alternatively, you could start the configuration again from scratch.

If you have terminal access, you may also be able to generate a backup and configure a different SMTP server. This could allow you to recover the password.
