As the title reads, we are a US based company taking over a company that is based in Canada. Management wants to disband their current phone system/support contract and run their office through our 3CX system. Our SIP provider (Comcast) informed me that we cannot port their existing numbers to our circuit because they are only able to handle US numbers.
Does anyone have suggestions on to how we can bring them onto our PBX and still retain their existing numbers? Perhaps a solution like signing up for a Canadian SIP provider that supports OTT and configuring that in our 3CX?

You got the solution. Get a SIP trunk that can handle their numbers and add it as a second trunk in 3CX. OR you could bring their existing service provider into 3CX (if it's analog lines use a gateway and connect the GW to 3CX, if it's SIP add it as a trunk, etc).
