There is not currently a way within call queue management to have a call queue manager be delegated the rights to modify their call queue attributes and no other department's call queues. Because of this lack of RBAC, I would like to find a piece of automation which could be activated by a dial code that would change a call queue "destination if no answer" configuration.

Let's say create a dial code *8766 triggers CFD rule to modify the destination no answer setting for Queue1 to forward to outside number, and specify the number.
Then dial code *8767 triggers CFD rule to modify the destination no answer to forward to an extension.

Is this possible?

Not possible as far as I know. For that matter, can you create custom dial codes? I don't think so. This is possible through the 3CX Call Control API. I suppose you could create a web API that invokes changes to the Call Control API, and then call that web service from a CFD. You could then toggle the setting by dialing the same CFD sequentially. You could assign the CFD extension as a BLF.

You can't create custom dial codes, but you can deploy a CFD app to an extension, and configure it as BLF, so you quickly call this CFD app by pressing a button.

In any case, there is no component to change the queue configuration in the way you need (edit the destination if no answer) from a CFD app.
