User Choice during On Hold

Is it possible to accept keypresses during on hold and branch? The idea is, we put a caller on hold and a message comes up press 1 for Spanish or continue listening for English.

Dont really think thats possible but i could be wrong.
Wont it be easier to apply an IVR in front of where ever that call comes in and then offer them the choice for either Spanish or English and route them appropriatly after that choice?

Client already has that. But if they put a Spanish speaker on hold after speaking to them their hold message is in English.

The only way I can see that working is to send the caller to a Queue with Spanish a message aka OHM

Yeah, I was thinking something like that would be an option. Probably the only option...
