Solved User see another user as busy

Hello guys !

We've a v16.2 Debian 3CX, all updated, when user 106 call user 104, he always faces her voicemail even if she is available.

I deleted his extension, create a new one, factory reset his Yealink T42S, try it again, and he still face her voicemail.

Then I thinked about an exception on the 104 but there is nothing in 104 or 106 extension . I copied the 106 user on 114 and then he can call her.

Is there more exception you can do than in Extensions -> Forwarding Rules or in Web Client - Exceptions ? Or maybe I miss something..

Check the status of the extension - Extension - Highlight the phone - Click on 'Status'

See if the status of the phone is available

Thank you for your answer.

The 104 extension is working nicely with all other users of our company, the only one who can't call her is 106. Looks like he always see 104ext as busy, even if 104 is available, not on call or whatever.

As you guys see, 104 phone is answering 486 Busy Here when he is called by 106

have you tried to untick VM for 104? is this do a change?

did you tried a complete pbx restart or services ?

Hi Mathieu,

Firstly look at the blacklist on 104's phone. If you don't see anything check the below:


- Can you disconnect user 104's phone(s) temporarily and log her in via the webclient?

- If 106 can call her while she is in webclient mode then you a can at least isolate the problem being her deskphone, possibly blocking the call from 104. Reset her phone in that case and see if that resolves it

Yes, the call just answer "voicemail deactivate" and yes I did it.

You're right, when I switched to Web Client only, 106 can call 104.

Then I'll search which option is doing that in the Yealin T48S.

You're welcome, it should be under Directory > Blacklist most likely

Shit, I had too much confidence with users, it was actually blacklisted

So it's fixed thank you guys.
