Hello,
We are installing a new 3cx system, latest stable v16 and extensions should be able to dial *31*[PSTN_number] in order to hide their caller ID.
So the call should reach the SIP provider (SIP Trunk with 3cx) with a RURI user = *31*XXXXXXXXXX

i have crated an outbound rule as follows:
Calls to numbers starting with prefix = *31*
Send to: VoIP Provider

simple as that.
However, based on the 3cx logs, 3cx does not actually use this outbound rule and only looks as the first digits, i.e. *3, which is the default FAC to change an extension status.
What is the way to send calls to the provider by prepending the *31* ?

Thank you,
George

To block outbound caller id the default code is *5 , you can check your setting - Settings - Dial Code Settings

I am not sure if you can route calls by checking the prefix *5, this is something you will have to test.

Hi @George Ts ,

So you have a case of overlapping dial-codes.
What you must do is go to Settings --> Dial Codes, and here change the existing "Change Profile Status" as that is intercepting the dialed number.

Change it to something unused like: *8
