Hi,

We have an annoying issue where when going through menu systems on calls such as those used by Webex to join a meeting the use of the hash # key causes 3CX to cut in sometime (not everytime) and bring a "please enter the number you wish to transfer the call to" response.

I cannot trace this in the settings or logs, so would be grateful if anyone could point me in the direction to prevent the use of # during a valid call to do this, as it means that when it does cut in you end up having to redial to the webex conference as you cannot do anything until 3CX steps out of the way.

thanks

More than likely, it is the phone. Many of the phones have an option whereby the "#" key can be programmed to represent "send". Take a look at the phone configuration thru the web GUI and see if there isn't an option to disable the send action.
