V14.0.27-3cxconfig file not working

Hi.

I am trying to configure my android client with the .3cxconfig file provided by e-mail, but, after download the file to my android phone it open with Kingsoft Office instead of 3CXPhone for Android.

How can I fix it?

Using the "Assign to Extension" under 3CX Server is working OK.

Phone Model: [HP Slate 6 Voice Tab]
Firmware Version: [v1.01.07_20141017.43752]
Android Version: [4.4.2]

Can you try to uninstall 3CXPhone, and reinstall, this should recreate the file association.

I am having the same problem with another phone model.

I should use the same provision file that work for 3CXPhone for Windows right?

Yes but you must send it through a normal welcome email, opened on your mail client on android

I found the same behavior in some testing. I also was able to work around it by SAVING the attached config file out of the Mail client and then opening via a file browser. This behavior only showed on the Android 5.0X phones that I tested. It seems that the Default Android 5.0X mail client doesn't quite obey all the OS file association rules.
