V14 On Hold Music "Line In"

Hi,

Our 3CX server is virtualized. We use windows media player to play WAV files and output to virtual sound card installed in the virtual server. On 3CX setting "Music File On Hold", we select"Streaming Line In".

This works perfectly fine from V11 to V12.5. However, it is not working anymore on V14.

Can you please check whether this is a bug?

Your only option is to go back to V12.5 if you want to use the line in feature.
The initial release of V14 does not have this ability. It might or might not return in SP1.

I miss this option in v14. While hold has the ability of specifying 10 tracks of music, SP only has the ability of specifying 1. It's a huge step backwards for the 3CX phone system.

We're missing this too. We used a free online classical music radio station and stream it to a virtual sound card. This seems to be a lost feature in V14

Bummer, I was looking for a new phone system to upgrade to. I was looking for a feature like this specifically. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to be able to customize our on hold to include pre recorded information about upcoming closures or notices. My office uses 4 four line land line phones right now.

This is still a good way to go.
You can string the recorded files together for a larger file.
The feature may return... but 3cx has a ton of other great features that you probably do not have now.
