Hi all, we manage a secure locked down client. They are running Win7/10 Enterprise with about 65 softphones on v14.
We stood up a 15.5 server and are going to do a swing upgrade by backup/restore the config on a new server and then change the IP's so everything should check back in.
Where I am concerned is updating the soft phone client. None of the users are admin who can install. Im thinking a GPO is the best way to update from 14 to 15 for the soft phones so we dont have to login to all 65 workstations.
Has anyone done this already successfully? Im setting up a test today with it but thought I would ask here as well.
