V16.7.8.121 - Phone not ringing during standby & Incoming calls notification setting kept being turned off

• 3CX PBX Version: [18.0.1880] / [Debian]
• Network Connection: [WiFi] / [IPv4]
• Client is on the same network as the PBX or not? Yes

I realised there is a problem of phone not ringing when it's in standby mode, hence I tried to searched through the forum and make adjustment accordingly.

I found that the "Incoming calls" under notification setting was turned off. I then turned on all the settings on "Incoming calls" which includes "Floating notifications", "Sound". "Vibration" and "Show all notifications and their contents" on the Lock screen.

After that, the phone was ringing when I made the test call.

But strangely, it only works for 1 call, after which it's not ringing anymore and when I check the setting of notification, all the setting on "Incoming calls" which includes "Floating notifications", "Sound". "Vibration" and "Show all notifications and their contents" on the Lock screen which I made has been turned off.

I tried to set it again and the same has repeated. The setting won't stay.

Could you give the following a try:

• Launch the 3CX Android App and go to "Menu >> Advanced" and disable the "Car/Bluetooth (Telecom API)" option. If it is already disabled, enable it again and try making a call again. Also try enabling "Incoming Call notifications" too.

• Try completely uninstalling the App and re-installing it, make sure it has been provided with all necessary permissions and don't set it as the default app for any specific functions.

• To clarify, by standby do you mean when it's completely locked?

• When you say that it does not ring, do you mean that you get no notification of an incoming call whatsoever, not even the screen wakes up?

• Do you have any third party software installed that may be restricting the device or any other apps in any way? Such as MDM software or a third party launcher, or anything else?

- Tried for both setting. It's the same, phone not ringing in lock screen.

-Yes. no notification, no screen wake up, nothing.

• Do you have any third party software installed that may be restricting the device or any other apps in any way? Such as MDM software or a third party launcher, or anything else?
No.
