Hi all,

I added a new CID rule to send someone directly to voicemail.
The rule gets added at the very bottom.
When I checkmark it, I can only move it up a couple of lines, then the MOVE UP button goes gray, while it's still have a long way to go above DID rules and other CID rules.
Any work around on this?

Thank you.

maybe it is at the top, what is above it could be on another trunk.

I think it's exactly what @3cxnub said, Inbound Rules are generally grouped by the SIP Trunk they were created for.

This means that if you have 2 SIP Trunks with 5 CID/DID Inbound rules for each, the two groups of 5 will always be together, and the group that is lower in the list will not be able to be moved into the group that is above.

I should point out though that if you do in fact have 2 (or more) SIP Trunks, if you want this specific Caller to be routed directly to VM regardless which SIP Trunk they call through, you need to create a CID Inbound Rule for the other SIP Trunk as well with the same number.

Got it - I see that CID can be brought up as high as the incoming DID of a trunk.
I see now that they are at the top of my 2nd trunk, but the top trunk / DID / CID is different.
Understood, thank you.
