Solved V16 Office 365 Integration Instructions

Just been looking at the O365 integration that comes with V16. Afraid to say that the instructions are already out of date. I've gone to https://apps.dev.microsoft.com and met with the warning banner in the image below.

Could the instructions please be updated to show how they are done in the new App registrations portal.

this must be super new as just 2 days ago I was able to create it from there. Lucky enough I have gone the hard way in Azure too. We will update the documentation shortly. Thx for pointing it out

I thought that might be the case, just unfortunate timing! Thanks for responding so quick. Could you post the updated documentation here when it is done please? Cheers.

Hi @SAS IT Dept,

It is indeed a case of unfortunate timing: Microsoft's recommendation for new app registrations to be done via their preview UI, appeared just before the v16 release. The documentation is being updated as we speak and will be on-line before Microsoft's May 1st 2019 transition date. In the mean time the 3CX integration instructions with Office 365 are valid based on the current app registration UI.

We'll keep you posted.
