I am currently running V16 on a Windows VM and for ease of future updates I'm looking to move over to the Debian version forV18

When moving from V15 to V16 on Windows, it was a case of backup and restore the 3CX config - is that the case for moving between Windows and Debian?

Cheers

Yes.

just make sure your IP info is the same.

You may need to change any locations for backups and recordings and such if they differ from default.

Thanks for the very quick reply - yep all defaults were used, so hopefully should be a simple install and restore :)

Make sure you shutdown the existing 3CX vm server before installing 3CX on debian

When you know everything is working, you can delete the vm
