V16 U7 Update - SMS from 3CX App?

Hi all-

I am using the 3CX V16 U7 Update with the Alpha SMS integration /w Telnyx. It works great with the Web Client, however, it doesn't appear as though I'm able to initiate a new SMS conversation from the 3CX app (version 16.1.5.43). I can only initiate a new chat with internal 3CX contacts.

I can reply to inbound texts easily enough though the 3CX app, I just can't initiate a new SMS conversation.

Is this a known limitation at this time or is there a step I need to take to update my 3CX app to allow for this functionality?

If memory serves - I believe the SMS via app is available in the test flight beta app so you will want to download that and try.

Yeah, so I downloaded the 3CX beta app from Testflight and as soon as you open Compose SMS, the app immediately crashes. So... it's not there yet.

Looks like an uninstall and reinstall fixed it for me. Thanks!
