V18 Bug?

I have a test system V18.0.1865 , Problem 1 some System Extensions will not start, I have restarted all services, as well as system reboot. Problem 2 can not add new user I get an Object reference not set to an instance of an object., Problem 3 any attempt to edit User gets a Invalid Extension Number length. Any Ideas?

How was this instance deployed? Was it a direct install to v18.0.0.1865 using the 3CX ISO or did you upgrade from a previous version?

If this was upgraded from a v16 instance how was that instance deployed, was it using the 3CX ISO for v16?

New install from 3cx iso, upgraded from 18 Alpha, all other test systems working fine, I may need to dump and reload, just wanted to know if anyone else has had this kind of result.

This is strange especially if you had originally directly installed v18 even if it was an Alpha release. I don't remember seeing any other reports of similar issues related to v18 installations so you might actually be better off re-deploying.

Do bear in mind that, if you had used a backup to restore this configuration it may be that the issue is related to something the backup contained. You might want to consider configuring it from scratch should this issue resurface upon a new installation that involves the same backup file.

I am sure you are right, a backup would not be the best option, lucky for me there is no real data to worry about.

Similar issue. I have two demo systems that have issues. Both have four Snom D785 phones. One of the four on the first demo can't connect through the normal process. My second demo system failed to start the web browser. I reloaded 3CX and restored from backup. All four phones are listed a 'new'. They won't connect. I deleted one. It has not been relisted.

Please start a new thread and provide more details. You don't mention where it's hosted, what specific version, what version you came from, etc. For the record I fired up a POC today on v18.0 Build 1880 and connected 4 phones to it (2 D785, GRP2616, and T46G with no issues.

It actually sounds like a different issue as the original post involved system extensions not registering and errors popping up when trying to add a new extension.

That said, please do start a new thread describing your issue and also provide the info cobaltit mentioned so that we can look into the matter.
