I would like to config (2) instances that can run simultaneously so I can test some hardware, SMS, Fax, Dect, Etc. I built a new V20 instance with a new fqdn. I previously read in the forum if I created a backup of my V18 production environment but excluded FQDN, License, etc. I would be able to restore the V18 backup to the new instance.
Since this is a new FQDN it should not recognize my SBC, and I have a new SIP registration to install to eliminate SIP issues.
Is the process credible. I tried the steps, after the restore onto the new instance. I get a url to log onto but no credentials I have work, including those from V18. And the portal.3cx.com page still shows I have a V20 product running?
