v18 Windows Dialer Always Pops to Front on incoming calls

I have a customer that I have just updated to 3CX v18.

When calls come in, the dialer window pops to the front to allow answering of the calls.

Usually, for most customers, this is what is desired, but this customer wants to be able to just answer the call with the headset button or bring up the dialer on the screen and then answer.

Is there a way to prevent the dialer Window from popping to the front on incoming calls?

I have tried right-clicking the icon for 3CX at the bottom-right if the screen and disabling "Keep dialer on top" under the "Preferences" menu, but the dialer still seems to pop up and pop to the front on incoming calls.

Hi @Muzz,

Why not test the Web Client with your client rather than the Desktop App in this case, as the Web Client will have the Dialler embedded and should be able to be answered from the headset.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Though the customer really likes the Desktop app in other respects.It's a shame there is not more control over the bring to front, etc setting.

I have a feeling though that if with the Desktop App, the dialer is open but just minimized to the taskbar, on incoming calls it will flash, but not appear over the active/focused app.
