V18u9 to V20U2

Like most, over the next couple of months, I am planning to start my migration from V18 to V20.

I have the luxury on this upgrade to be installing V20 on a new server and have read the migration guide making sure all the items are covered.

However, a quick question.

I am not using the windows dialer client, I am using the V18 web app.

Because I want to test V20 before promoting the new server into live, does anyone know if I HAVE to upgrade the client dialer to the new version to test, or will it continue working with V20 and I can then upgrade the client at a different time?

The web app (PWA) will keep working with V20. You can even use it next to the windows client, so you can test the windows app, while still have a working PWA application.

The PWA is the web client, just running "sort of outside" the browser.

The Desktop App is removed in v20. That will continue to work if already installed.

The web client will of course work.

There is a new Windows Store app, as well.
