Solved V20 and chat journaling to mssql

I've setup chat journaling according to the 3cx docs to try and record the chats to a mssql DB. But after the chat has finished by either side nothing is being written out. Note I have only set the database connection and chat journal insert command as I don't need call journaling or contact updates etc.

What am I missing?

Oh nothing useful in the verbose 3cxsystemservice.log

In first place, ensure that you have configured the contact lookup, because chats will only be logged for matched contacts.

Second, chats are logged when the agent "deals with" the chat conversation from the web client. So ensure that you're selecting that option.
