V20 on-premise license.

Does 3CX V20 running on Windows still requires an ENT license. I have contacted their technical support and had this reply "3CX v20 is available on Pro licenses on Windows, customers were initially advised to upgrade their systems to Enterprise to be able to have v20 on Windows, however since the release of v20 on windows customers can have Pro licenses on windows".

Does that mean we can continue with PRO and do not need to renew with ENT license?

I read that, and this isnt the official reply from 3cx. I dont know what they are talking... The last official reply is you need enterprise for windows.

Interesting. No mention of the license requirement on the Windows installation page. So is Marcus mistaken or is the support guy mistaken.

I dont know.. I was sure this is correct. But the last time they put some stuff on the partner level page that wasnt correct. Maybe it is here the same....

If I go to my customer.3cx.com portal and "Install" on a Pro license and go through the wizard, im able to select Windows too (how relevant that is I dont know).

Here's an official answer from Nick.

You need to do this from now. A windows edition requires an Enterprise Edition. Enforcement might take some time, we don't know when and we don't really need to say when, but we are just telling you that you start making plans to either buy Enterprise Edition or move to Linux or another solution.
