V6 Where is the License Key stored?

Hi

We had a system crash on our 3cx server and had to recover our 3cx from tape to another hardware. Now our V6 System is in Free Mode. Since our company moved long time ago, our mail license key cant' be found. Where is this key stored? I remember when the system was activated it was able to show this key.

Hi,

Your 3cx licence key wil lbe stored in the backup. in the XML file. Dig around there and you should ifnd it if you backed the pbx up whils it was in registered mode. Please note that it will try and re validate your key with 3CX.

Where do i find the xml file? I have a complete backup of the ACTIVATED system. Reactivation shouldn't be a problem. Remember, it is version 6!
