Version 15.5.10244.4 on Debian 8.7 to Version 16

Hey All,

Just wanted to know the best way to upgrade our pbx from 15.5.1044.4 to 16.0. Currently in the "updates" section of our 3cx dashboard it is showing 15.5 SP5 release instead of 16.0. I've also read on various forums that we should take a back then uninstall then reinstall Debian ISO for 3cx v16 and use the backup to restore from

I would do exactly the steps you have highlighted.

Backup the current 3CX, make sure you copy the backups from the Debian server.
Use the ISO image for 3CX v16, reinstall 3CX. - https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/
Restore from the backup
