Very High I/O other usage on for win 8.1 upd 1

I'm seeing huge numbers rapidly reached for I/O Other... 3cx is in the 10s of millions compared to the next item which is only in the hundreds of thousands..

Yes it's to be expected, this is due to functions running in background, not a problem, does not affect performances.
