Using 3CX 16, when you make a call using the soft phone, the soft phone display shows the big buttons, Hold, Transfer, etc. The lower left button says Video. When some of our users click this, it launches Chrome but when I click it, nothing happens. The Webmeeting button does launch the webmeeting in Chrome, but I was hoping that you could start a voice call between two of our extensions and click the video button to add video to the existing call. Is that how it should work? Any idea why it doesn't for me? I tried reinstalling the soft phone but it did not help.
Ideally, we would like it to be simpler than having to have one person launch the webmeeting first and then send a link to the other person by chat or email. If that button worked and did what I expect, that would be great.
Also, why can't we just right click on one of our extensions and the select an option that says "Call Extension 103 with Video"
