Hi guys
i'm new to the 3CX and was asked, if there is any recommendation to use Video Conferencing in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops started from a HP Thinclient. For Skype for Business there is an Optimization Pack as far as i know, but this is probably not needed for Video Conferencing.

Is anyone working with a setup like that?

Many thanks for your help.

Best regards,
Marc

Hi John
thanks for your fast feedback. If that is the name of the 3CX Video Conferencing then yes. Is there any support from 3CX on having that on a Terminal Server with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops?

The 3CX webmeeting / web conferencing / webinar will actually run on our own servers and is part of your license.

When you schedule a meeting, you connect from a browser to our cloud and stream your video there, where it is distributed to all the participants.

So all you need to use it is a browser and a camera and mic attached to your PC. Whether the PC is a physical laptop/desktop or VM should make no difference really. I would recommend to sign up for a trial license and give it a go to see how it works, and if you have any questions not covered by our quick guides, just make a new post on our Web meeting forum section and we will be glad to help

Since WebMeeting runs on the Web, it shoudn't be an issue with Citrix nor TS.
