Vocera Badge system

Has anyone tied a 3CX to a Vocera Badge System? I have a hospital I'll be converting over to 3CX which is currently using a Toshiba CIX I also support. The current Toshiba is tied to the Vocera system by a trunk to allow calls to and from Toshiba phones and outside callers to the nurse badges.

Unfortunately we have not tested such an integration so you we cannot really advise on this one. All I can say is that you can create a generic SIP trunk in 3CX as well and try connecting the 2 that way. It should work the same way.

Will the Vocera have access to the 3CX SIP trunk for outbound calling if I just use a generic SIP trunk or does it need to be setup in bridge mode with master slave to allow that? Is there any documentation on connecting 3CX to another system? Thanks

Honestly since I am not familiar with the system I cannot guarantee anything but if you create a SIP trunk between the 2 systems you should be able to call back and forth. It going to be a lot of manual configuration though.

We used to have an old guide on how to connect 3CX with Asterisk but it is no longer available since a lot of things have changed since then.
