Voice Mail send email

I would like to send the recording voice mail for my coworks.
But My email server required authentication. Where I can put this configuration in 3cx?

Hi Augusto !

The current version does not support authentication when it sends notification messages to an SMTP server.

The easiest solution is to install Microsoft's virtual SMTP server and send notifications to this server (without authorization). In the virtual SMTP server you can organize a redistribution group which will resend all gotten messages to your SMTP server (with authorization).

Alternative to Alexanders comment ask your ISP to turn of SPF

Sender Policy Framework (SPF, http://spf.pobox.com) is a mechanism for preventing sender forgery in SMTP transaction, thus allowing domain owners control over who may send mail from their domain.

Than you are able to send email to their mail server without any authentication.

Sometimes when you use mail server IP address with the SMTP port like.

{mailserverIP}:25 it might work but that is not guaranteed.

If I am running windows server 2k3 R2 can I just add the mail server role (POP3, SMTP) to the existing server instead of a virtual server instance? I believe that windows server still requires authentication.

No reason to add Virtual Server, you can but you do not have to.

I installed Exchange on my 2k3 server for my mail traffic.

Just adding the mail server role should work.

Both Windows 2000 and 2003 include a full SMTP mail server. You must install the IIS SMTP mail services. This you can use as a mail server for 3cx.

There are also lost of freeware mail servers easy to configure and install. Here is one http://www.hmailserver.com

thanks. I just wanted the ability to forward these messages to my active email since this version does not include exchange integration.
