is there any way to adjust the volume of certain voice prompts? It seems the ones used for queueing are played at a louder volume than others? Obviously i can adjust the volume on the wav files themselves, but would prefer not to. Even if we could adjust the overall volume across all prompts may be an option as a workaround - if this can be achieved.

Hi Guys,

I agree with onestopit. We do encounter very loud volume on our prompts.

Is there any possible settings on 3CX or any other possible way of reducing the volume other than editing the wav file itself?

TIA.

Regards,
John

Hi,
Kindly ignore previous comments, only certain Codecs allow change of volume in the 3cx server. The only way to do this is to manually lower the volume.

http://www.kanssoftware.com/download.htm can be tried for 30 days, it can lower the volume of a high amount of batch files, if anyone know of any free ones please post it. Please note i haven't tested that software.

thanks mfm.

just a suggestion, you may use "Audacity" software to edit wav file(s) for free.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Hope this help.

Regards,
John
