We seem to have a problem that voicemail emails are not deliverred. Can someone check if our address was blacklisted in bounce address list, please?

For us to check this, you would need to open a support ticket through the portal.3cx.com section. Before doing so, suggest that if using the 3cx SMTP server, pressing TEST under the management console > Settings > Email section succeeds, and you receive the test email to the admin email account.

Additionally, you would need to check the receiving side SMTP for any issues receiving email or the user's mailbox to check whether email is not in the Junk or Spam folders.

Hi Chares,

I used a different address and now it is working. The other address most likely got black-listed on your end. will open a ticket as you requested. Thanks.

Hi Charles, I am unable to open a support request for this system.

Did you purchase a support ticket?

Hi Charles,

You mean support is required to remove a Blacklisted address from your own filters?

Thanks,

Matthew

Hello, Is there anyone from the community who can help with this issue?

Please purchase and open a ticket with us at 3cx technical support to check the email address if it is indeed blocked on our side and if you have gone through the steps provided in my first reply.

Hi Charles,

I can confirm it is blocked. The address was updated from our end to a mailbox alias and by mistake that mailbox alias was removed. Once re-instated, emails stopped flowing. Other community responses point to some bounce protection automatically blacklisting addresses when this scenario happens. The test button and platform notifications (going to a different address) never stopped working. As I explained I have resolved the issue by redirected the messages to a different address on the same Microsoft 365 tenant and voicemail emails are being received, but I would rather be able to use the appropriate address. If you need to get a support ticket to address this, it would be ridiculous, as it is a spam/filtering issue, not a platform issue.

Thanks,
Matthew

If the email fails to send (user not set up yet for example) then 3CX temporarily stop sending to this address.

Give it a few days and you'll be able to use that address again.

though, you said you're using 365 - why not set up the 365 Integration?
