voicemail oddity

I received a email from one of my clients today that I have no idea where to start

"This morning my phone rang and the screen said Voice Mail . . . . I answered it and could hear someone talking. I tried to interrupt her but she could not hear me. I am now thinking she was leaving a voicemail. It was really strange. The voicemail has never popped up on my phone or email but I did write down the information as I was listening."

Anyone else ever see or hear of something like this?

What do the call reports / call history show?

The call Logs from the time that she specified said she had 6 calls between 5am and 9:30am and that all of them had been answered by her except for 1, it showed no answered and went to VM. But that was an internal call and she did receive that VM.
