I am having a little trouble with sending email notifications for voicemail.
my main.cf is configured as follows:
virtual_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp
relayhost =mail.**********xions.co.uk:25
smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtp_sasl_password_maps =hash:/etc/postfix/sasl/passwd
smtp_sasl_security_options =
broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes
mydomain = **********xions.co.uk
myhostname = **********.***********xions.co.uk
smtpd_tls_auth_only =
smtp_use_tls = no
smtpd_use_tls = no
smtp_tls_note_starttls_offer = no

Notifications that are sent to an email address ending with the domain **********xions.co.uk are all received ok, however any notifications that are sent to email address of another domain (gmail, yahoo etc) fail with the following error:
CFCDB2EA3B2: to=<dan.******@gmail.com>, relay=**********xions.co.uk[194.**.**.2]:25, delay=0.42, delays=0.18/0.01/0.07/0.17, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (host **********xions.co.uk[194.**.**.2] said: 550-(**********.**********xions.co.uk) [109.***.**.61] is currently not 550-permitted to relay through this server. Perhaps you have not logged into 550-the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP 550 Authentication turned on in your email client. (in reply to RCPT TO command))
I am using elastix 2.o and have enabled remote smtp server settings on the email tab. I contacted my hosting provider and asked them if they could authorize the ip of my elastix box to relay through the mailserver but they are unable to do this.
As a temporary work around i have set the voicemail notification address as extension@**********xions.co.uk and set a mail forwarder on my domain to send that mail to dan.******@gmail.com
Can anyone suggest a way to get this working without using the forwarder
