Yes I know this is unsupported and that there's some disagreement between these companies and some overlap on competative services.

However, I have a lot of numbers with VI and I haven't found another vendor that isn't wildly more expensive that supports SMS and works.

So has anyone gotten VI SMS to work with 3CX and if so, can you share your configurations?

You should ask them (Voip Innovations), not us.
Because if there are custom configurations to be made, it's on the side of Voip Innovations, not 3CX.

Alternatively, you could try to find a provider that supports partial portability, so that only the SMS service is with the new provider while keeping the same DID with Voip Innovations for calls. I don’t have an example to give, so you will need to do some research, but this is one possible solution.
