Solved voip.ms registration and emails failing

We are hosted with 3cx on v20 and this morning we suddenly started having issues with emails failing and registration to denver1.voip.ms failing. We use the 3cx SMTP server but are getting this message:

The following error occurred when trying to send an email with subject ‘New missed call from +17378952616:AHP +17378952616’ to ‘[email protected]’ : Resource temporarily unavailable

The error for registering says:


Registration at VoIP.MS has failed. Destination (sip:208.100.60.32:5060;lr) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.


I can connect to voip.ms with a softphone but not with 3cx.

Did you also open a ticket for this issue with us at 3cx technical support?

Yes I opened a ticket. They fixed it. Their reply:

Please be aware that there was a connectivity issue with the machine. To fix this, the hosting provider has live migrated the machine to another Hypervisor.
