Solved Voipfone phone numbers

Hi,
I have setup 3CX and have a trunk setup to the first free number from Voipfone, I have now purchased a second number and a virtual extension from Voipfon. How do I now configure Voipfone / 3CX to receive calls on two different internal extensions?

If you use one trunk group, then any calls (from both numbers), will go to one destination, unless, you subscribe to a DID service. If you can create two trunks, and each number comes in on one of the trunks, then each trunk can route to a different destination.

Not having used hat provider, I don't know the details of what they offer.

If you only use one trunk with 2 numbers then you need to add the second number under the Trunk settings / DID and create an inbound rule if you want the second number to be routed to a different destination.

Hmm that's not sounding good as I get an error if I use the same Authentication ID (aka SIP User ID) in a second trunk saying it is already in use.

Has the extra number been added as an DDI number to your main number.

What happens if you dial the number, within the 3CX activity logs can you see the call hitting the system.

getting there needed to use the number*extension from voipfone and ext number password in the second trunk. now seeing it in the logs, and it is calling the correct extension in 3cx. Thank you for your help
