Hi, I have a problem with yealink DECT antennas.

I have a small installation in which I have 2 IP phones and 4 DECT extensions on a Yealink W60 antenna, I have everything updated to the latest versions available for 3cx but the DECT extensions lose connectivity against the cloud PBX. The extensions on the IP phones work correctly.

I have already checked that the antenna did not fail due to electrical problems, the antenna has been replaced and the network electronics have been replaced but the problem persists.

Can anyone explain what could be happening?

In the installation I have a carrier router applied a DMZ to my CISCO router.

How are the phones configured dect and IP - stun or sbc.

Update the firmware from Yealink website (base unit and handset)

Save yourself alot of issues, install a SBC server

If you have to use stun, make sure you configure the phones the 3cx supported way

The curious thing is that the IP phones do work correctly and are also found in STUN.

Would you know what the difference is that these, using the same protocol do not fail and only the extensions configured in the DECT are the ones that fail?

I don't suspect an antenna issue as it is the base the registers with 3CX. I would check the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose) to see if there are any clues as to what might be happening. Is it possible to move the DECT sets to another location, temporarily, to see if the problem follows?
Since you are using STUN, I assume that all handsets have been assigned a unique local SIP port.

You will be very surprised to hear that this is not curious at all. It's a very often reported observation that "all my STUN phones work fine, except this one". So what you describe is actually quite typical. Unless you plan on doing a network deep dive with packet inspection, you have two main options at your disposal:

1. Install a 3CX SBC and forget about all these issues (plus other issues that you have yet to encounter)

or

2. Setup the STUN phones (each with its own unique SIP port) as per this article, but you are still at the mercy of your CPE and Firewall behaving well (DMZ does not guarantee that at all)

You cannot skip any of those steps - they are all mandatory will have to be revisited in the future if the phones stop working again.
