Hello, my wife and I live in a building that has an entry phone system that forwards to one number only.
I set up 3cx with voip.ms so that if our voip.ms DID number was called it would forward to an AWS instance of 3cx that would RingAll in our Buzzer RingGroup with my wife’s number and mine as members. If neither of us picked up it would go to the Buzzer RingGroups voicemail which would be emailed to both of us. We also installed the app and provisioned it.
All was working.
Within the last few weeks (I guess after an update) everything disappeared. Maybe I upgraded the wrong thing or in the wrong way.
Had weekly backups enabled.
Last backup was just after everything disappeared… didn’t know it was one back that gets overwritten each time.
I was curious if there was a guide I could use in a best practices way to set this up and get it working again.
Apartment code is entered on entry phone it
Calls VoIP.ms DID number
3cx “gets” the call
Sends it to the Buzzer RingGroup with RingAll mobile phone numbers enabled.
Rings both our cell phones and apps.
If no one answers the call it goes to Buzzer RingGroup voicemail which is emailed to both of us and then deleted.
I had it set up and working last night … and it’s not working again today.
Thanks for your time,
Bobby
