Web Browsing into STUN Phones

I've had a play and I'm struggling.

I'm using a Zyxel VMG8924-B10A router and I've port forwarded using the following rule:

Source Port / Destination Port / Destination IP Address / Type
7000 / 7000 / 192.168.1.10 / TCP

I changed the HTTPS port on the Yealink phone from 443 to 7000.

First problem is locally I cannot web browse to 192.168.1.10:7000, it refuses to connect, reverts to http and then I can get in.

No access using the public IP of the router 123.123.123.123:7000

I've tried changing the HTTP port from 80 to 7000 and have the same problem, no connection.

I temporarily changed the firewall setting on the router to allow WAN to LAN but it still fails to connect.

I will try to replicate it in the office and set up a mirror on the LAN port to capture the traffic and see where the issue is but is there anything obviously wrong that you can see.

Local connection to a Yealink would be via HTTP (I imagine you are using RDP in and then accessing direct) and not (s) HTTPS as generally it would be used if you were trying to login to the phone using (for example) a public IP.

In the ZyXEL range you have the "remote management" section where you can set access via HTTP/HTTPS to your trusted IP address (where you are connecting in from) use this.

The Remote Management works well on the Zyxel so no issues there.

I've tried using the same model router in the office and changing the HTTP of a Yealink phone to 7000 and http:192.168.1.x:7000 goes straight in. Annoyingly when I tried this on site it refused to connect.
