Since we adopted 3CX in our little business (15 people) we rely heavily on the web client, that we consider the highest point of 3CX ecosystem talking about the desktop solution (as it guarantees a lot of advantages: no obsolete phones on desks, no installation, centralized maintenance, and so on).

Therefore, we’ve been stunned by rel 18.

About the two lacks:
- why removing the multi-function search tool on the upper banner?
- why removing the possibility of changing the state message? (you really have to access to settings, now? ... almost incredible).

About the general observation: the whole experience got a lot worse!
Ok, this could sound as a matter of “personal tastes”, but ... is it?
I mean: graphic is ugly, inside-windows frames (so clear and immediate-impact until rel 16) are so flat and confusing, with all the elements that, became square, mix and lose their immediate boundaries at the first sight ...
A truly unexpected step back, imho. :(
We will try to hold on to rel 16, but it’s really annoying and sad.

Hi @FilippoL,

If you open the dial pad, it's the same search there.

This will be updated in a coming update, what you will see is this:

This isn't something I can really comment on as it's a subjective view of the update, the design decision was explained by our founder and CTO, Mr Nick Galea in this post: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v18-alpha-5/

That is correct @Rashid Raza, it was an older version in the screenshot that what you're using now. It was before labels were added to the icons.
