Web Client opening new tab

Hi,
every time a new 3cx chat notification is displayed, if the user clicks on the notification the webclient opens a new tab and doesn't switch the focus on the opened one like many other tools and services.
This bug is very annoying because every time the user must close the new tab!

I'm hoping to see this fixed from a long time but it's still here. Maybe there is a way to set this behaviour that I'm not aware of?

What you are describing is the default behaviour for certain browsers (like Chrome) when clicking on notifications. How it will be handled is not up to 3CX, but rather the browser 3CX is open on. I've not seen a way to change the behaviour, within the settings (of Chrome in this instance).

Hi @VasilisV_3CX,
It's for sure something that can be changed by 3CX as this works as expected with a lot of other web products (first of all whatsapp web).

We are aware of this behavior and we do plan on looking into it in the future. While I can't go into technical details, the implementation we have for Notifications is slightly different than that of other services, but we will see what we can do.
