Howdy!

Is there a way a user can login to a web page to clear their voicemails?

Thanks!

Are they not able to use the 3CX Phone for Windows?

Howdy!

They don't want to use the 3cx phone. :) The request was for a webpage, so I was hoping there was one.

Well we don't typically give everyone everything they ask for.

That being said, the VM's are stored in a group of folders on your PBX. On our system the location is:

C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Ivr\Voicemail\Extensions

It's not exactly a web page but you could create some security structure and let individuals access their own extension folder. Sounds like a big headache to me.

Good luck.

What happens is they have their vm delivered to their email and left in their extension. They don't want to delete them through the phone and so far... no one likes the 3cx phone. Most of the users come from previous environments where they could just goto a web page, and delete the files themselves, so that is where the ask comes from.

When they complain enough I just login and delete the vm files for them, but many users and management have asked for this feature.

Why not change so they are just forwarded to email and not saved in pbx?

In current version of 3CX you can set retention rules to automatically delete old vm.
