Hi
I have read a few Forum requests over the years where the ability of the 3CX admin to get to the call recording of a web meeting has been discussed and I don't think I have ever seen an answer that would help me.
We use 3CX in a Distance Learning Organisation and for child safeguarding reasons we record all our calls between our students and our tutors. These are all recorded by our cloud instance and backed up to cheap storage overnight. excellent!
However, increasingly our tutors are using 3CX web meetings as a vastly superior option for delivering tutorials. That is great from an academic standpoint but is causing us some safeguarding concerns. The Tutor, as the organiser of the meeting, is the only person to receive an email with the location of the meeting. The 3CX management interface
won't allow us to enforce recording of a meeting
won't tell us that a meeting has taken place,
won't allow us to automatically download a copy of the meeting and store it on our own servers
I am sure that I am not the only person frustrated by this and as more and more educational establishments attempt to teach remotely, I am sure that I will not be alone in having the same safeguarding concerns.
If anyone has a workaround for these issues I would be very grateful to hear them.
Greg
