Has anyone solved the issue of no-audio in remote extensions? I've seen a number of posts about this but no solution. I can hear the ringing when making a call, but once connected their is silence for both parties.

What Browser do you use?
Have you set the audiosettings correct ? Most of the bluetooth headsets have 3 devices which are usable, see my picture. In this case you need to select the Handsfree devices, depending on your hardware

I'm not using bluetooth, just working with laptops internal speaker and mic for now to keep things really simple. As I said, I hear ringing but once the call connects its dead air.

Hi,

You have not shared any details on your setup so I will advise you from scratch:

-Firstly ensure you are testing with the latest version of Chrome.

-Then, if you have a wired headset, it would be a good idea to set it up

-The audio settings need to be set from within the webclient settings under Personalize > Audio/Video

- Finally (and most importantly) your PBX have the correct ports forwarded. Without those you will have absolutely zero audio. https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

3CX also has a firewall tester which I suggest you make use of, but it does not test the entire range, just the first and last few ports. You need to ensure you open the entire range as per our document. This is mandatory if you want audio.

Thanks guys - firewall trapped me up. This could answer a few other niggles I've had from time to time
