Hello,

Since moving over to the Web Chrome extension, we've been having issues creating a conference call the way we need to.

What we used to do on the Desktop client is the following.

Call A - Active
Call B - On hold.

Click "Conference" while in Call A, it creates a conference.
Go to Call B, click conference, it adds to the same conference.

The behavior with Extension now when you click Conference, it pops up asking to add participants, but we are unable to add other existing calls to participants, it forces us to "add" someone to the call by calling them.

We tried to conference Call A and call B with Extension 7000, it does work, everyone is conferenced together, but then it asks for Conference PIN every ~15seconds while in the conference.

Is there anything we are missing to conference active calls as easily as with Desktop client, or has the option just been removed?

Thanks.

Anyone come across a solution for conferencing existing calls on Chrome Extension?

Due to the lack of options to properly make conference calls on the Chrome Extension, we've had to rollback to the windows client for the time being. Our call centers have been experiencing too much inconvenience with this.

Highly suggest improving the QoL for conferencing on the Chrome Extension to the same way it works on the Desktop client. Being unable to conference two active calls together seems like an important flaw in a phone system that boasts multi-way conferencing.

Also noticed that when in a conference, menu options/extensions does not work. Unsure if that's normal behavior.

Unfortunately, that does not seem to work. When doing a blind transfer to 700**ext, nothing happens at all.

When clicking "Conference" and then adding participant 700**ext, it also doesnt do anything.

If transferring calls to the extension 7000, it "works" but there's a "enter PIN" message every 15 seconds.

Either way, this process should not be over complicated as it currently is. Typical cellphones/phones have a very easy way to merge calls by simply clicking "Merge". Even the windows client has somewhat straightforward method by clicking "Conference" in every active call to merge them together.

We are working toward introducing this functionality on Chrome Extension/WebClient also.

Please bear with us and we will keep you updated on our progress.

Any update on when we'll see this capability for the webclient? We've got employees working from home who can't join 2 active calls.
