WebClient with 3CX extension enabled integration not working

Hi,
since the installation of the chrome extension (2.0.0.10), the integration no longer works. Auto launch a Custom Contact URL using variables is not started. Is there another location where I need to add the URL to the Extension so the Auto launch will work again?
 
Hello RogierP,

This is something that will be fixed in the upcoming release of Chrome Extension.

Could you let me know if there's an update on this please as I'm also waiting for this feature.

We released Update 5 Alpha with Edge Extensions that has the full feature set/features, and soon we will release Beta/Final that will also include Chome Extension latest version.
 
in update 5 Alpha, it works great

Looking to demo this feature to get a new client, Any news on it being released as we are now into march and last update was before end of February.

Install and demo the Update 5 Alpha 2. It will work. Just don't use it in production until it's officially released.

Latest Edge Extension (Chromium) with Update 5 Alpha 2 will contain features that are not released yet with our Chrome Extension which are:
  • White theme
  • Hotkeys
  • Settings page
  • Chat notifications
 
Tried it with latest Chromium Edge and 5 Alpha 2 and it did not act on the URL given on either ringing or connect.

Did you configure how the integration will behave on the Edge Extension - Settings page?
 
Which settings are you referring to? I looked in the settings of the extension and there isn't much there. The closest thing I found was "Allow access to file URLs" and that made no difference. I checked the settings in Chrome and found the same settings but since I can't get it to work in Chrome either I have no reference to make it work. I tried searching the web about the "Auto launch a Custom Contact URL using variable" but found mostly posts about it is not working with no responses. Others were in answers to questions but there no follow up if it worked or not. There were no posts or documentation about making this feature work.

Is there any plans to make this work?
 
Hello @stevecashin ,

Please open the Edge Extension and then open the Menu on the left hand side. You will get a "Settings" menu entry. On "Settings" page navigate to "Integration" option and then configure there the appropriate options.

Please let me know if it is more clear now.
 
Ah, now I understand. When doing this in the Chrome version, it simply opens up the webclient and goes to the settings there. I did not realise the settings in the Edge version was independant of the settings in the webclient. I kept setting it up in the webclient assuming it was setting it up in the extension.

I've tried it and it is working.

When will this be released in the production version?

Edge extension has a newer version than Chrome one.

Settings of Edge Extension will be decoupled from Web Client ones.

Hopefully, we can release the updated version on both Chrome and Edge Extensions by the beginning-mid of April

Both. Latest version released also in Chrome
