Can anyone confirm if webmeeting service is down? I am the meeting organizer and admin and getting this error clicking provided URL.

Error: Oops, something went wrong…

https://status.3cx.net shows one node being unavailable. I just created a quick meeting with no issues. I'm in the US connected to a MCU in Oregon:

Server info:United States (Oregon) 0019 - us019-hil.3cx.net (147.135.97.108) - US United States Oregon - Version: 10.5.10.26232/Linux

I'm in NJ. Thanks for that link...I will bookmark. It looks like northeast shows all node online also. Still getting that error even now though.

If you are able to (and especially if you haven't rebooted 3CX in a couple weeks) I'd reboot it. 3CX has been doing some serious upgrades to the webmeeting infrastructure and a reboot was recommended to 'see' all the new bits. Also make sure your MCU is set to 'Automatic'. Lastly you didn't post what version of 3CX you are on (and I'm not sure that it matters in this case) but I'm on Update 5 Beta, not that I recommend you be on anything beyond .504 which is Update 4 with the hotfix.

It's strange no one have reported this, can you ensure you can talk with outside world from your system? Something wrong from your side.

I do multiple webinars every day, so I've seen this issue several times over the last few weeks. The solution is very simple. Restart the 3CX System Service. Restarting the service doesn't impact active calls but it has fixed this issue for me every time. I'll not take credit for the solution... I was directed to do this by 3CX support.

no issues with regular calling. logs shows over 200 inbound and outbound today. only issue was with webmeeting. I will try reboot overnight. I have auto update on so I am always on latest non BETA version. MCU is also default - automatic.

You don't need a full reboot. Just restart the one service. You can do it while the PBX is live. It won't impact active calls.

that did the trick. Thank you!

Hello,

Which system service needs to be restarted so that no ongoing calls are interrupted?

3CX System Service is currently a service which may need restarting.
With V16 U5 this part got optimized.

3CX System Service does not affect ongoing calls or meetings and will trigger on restart a synchronization to the portal from your PBX.

The redirect takes place as defined in the page.
A) Cannot locate your portal in the cloud (various reasons)
B) A meeting could not be sync to the cloud (various reasons)

You may set your login level to verbose temp. and then restart the above service.
The log of the System Service contains the sync status of your PBX. Search for WM in the txt file.

Hello,

I couldn't find the correct line that contains the sync status of the web meeting but you can also see this thread since many users have the same problem:

Hi @Ronin

following our remote session I like to update the community also:

Our WM Team could identify a situation, which is independent from v16 U5 RC build or customer's using their own FQDN. If a system (PBX) has disabled extensions, then the save of newly created extensions or scheduled meetings failed to be processed in our cloud platform. Apologies to all customers who had been affected by this. We are working on a solution on how to monitor and proactively inform OPS Teams about this going forward. Ops is rolling out the update right now and will be available for all customers within the next 30 minutes. You may restart the 3CX System Service for an immediate resynchronization or wait up to 8h until your install will perform this task on schedule.
