Webmeeting email template

I noticed that the formatting (in Outlook) of the Webmeeting emails is ugly, with no line breaks so it's all scrunched up. Looking at the template - recognizing that I'm NOT a web developer - and I think this template is all sorts of screwed up. This sounds harsh, but I'm thinking this needs to be redone to help everyone.

The main thing is that the CSS styles are defined in the top section, but then overridden with inline styles. I think the inlines all need to be eliminated. This would help as we need to make minor tweaks to fit our needs.

Am I correct, or way off base here?

As a web developer I know a lot about this sort of thing, the inline styles are needed as well as the css in the header, Not all email clients work the same. As for a redesign you can edit the template your self, a line break is <br/> , I hope this helps some.

Fair enough, thank you for the input. I know just enough to sound stupid. Isn't <br> deprecated though? That's why I was messing with the CSS anyway... to tweak <p> margin.

You're probably right, not deprecated. Just not supposed to be used between <p> elements. I was reading the note on this page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/br

As @TBWD said, you are allowed to edit your templates to your needs, but not every email client will render it the same way (some times due to implementation/resolution/OS/client, other times due to setup either by the user or their admin).

It would say is best to keep them as simple if possible to avoid overburdening the recipient, and keeping the most relevant information in view so it will be legible in all manner of devices, mail clients, resolutions, and browsers. There's quite a few considerations for a web developer to take into account, the main one being that you cannot control what device the content will end up on.
